Trapped- Chapter 2: Scratches - Rough Draft

<-Edna Grell(this is what she would look like in real life, maybe)

Kacy felt fear. Terror. She wanted to puke. She wanted to leave. Kacy was frantically trying to pulf thhe shrug sleeve from Madison, all the while saying the same thing in her head. No, no, no, no!
She could hear the sound of he heart beating, blood rushing from her cheeks.
"Edna, help," breathed Kacy. She was angry. Very angry,
"Madison, give Kacy her sleeve please," asked Edna in the sweetest, kindest voice she could muster. She placed a small hand on Kacy's shoulder.
"Why?" asked Madison in marvel. "These things are cool!"
"No...no....no!" Kacy's voice was rising. Soon she'd be yelling at Madison.
Kacy was even more embarrassed than before. She looked at circle of kids who were all laughing glaring at her scales. She look down to her feet.
The boy laughed. "Those things are cool, Maddy? More like creepy!"
Thats when Kacy exploded. She ripped the shrug sleeve out of Madison's hand and pushed Edna's hand off her shoulder.
"What's your name?" she growled to the boy.
"Ryder," he said, a small part of his tongue hanging from his mouth. He was smirking at her, probably pleased he got her all fired up.
"Well, Ryder," growled Kacy. "I prefer not to be called 'creepy'."
"Why should I listen to you, Scale Girl!" laughed Ryder. That was it. Someone was going to get hurt. And that someone was Ryder. Without even thinking, Kacy's hand raked across Ryder's face. Blood was pouring from his face. At first he looked shocked, and Kacy was pleased with his reaction, but then he started screaming. Then the consequences started kicking in. Mr. Briggs is going to kill me. Adults started surrounding Ryder. Nurse's came in minutes later. I knew one too. Lucy Wells. She looked at Kacy, a shocked, disappointed look. Kacy was embarrassed and ashamed now. And once again she looked at my feet. The shiny shoes didn't look so shiny now.

She felt the hard grip of Mr. Briggs. The way he gripped her spoke for itself. I am in so much trouble.

"Kacy," he whispered in to Kacy's ear, every word sticking in her head like glue. He didn't say sweetheart. That meant it was serious. "May I talk to you?"

"Yes sir," her voice was shaken. She didn't want talk to Mr. Briggs one second!

He took her aside, to the corner of the room. Kacy was overwhelmed with fear. Don't hurt me.

"If I didn't need you, sweetheart, you would be dead right now," he hissed. Kacy smelled the fragrance of...iris's as he talked. What did he do, eat flowers? "Let me explain this to you, seethesrt. I need to be in contact with Mr. Ryder's Guardian, and you probably just ruined all of my chances. What on all freaking earth made you scratch his face?" I need to be in contact with Ryder's Guardian? What does that mean? His face was all scrunched up in anger. Kacy was afraid to answer. Should she lie? Or should she answer truthfully? Would answering truthfully harm her?

"He called me...he called me Scale Girl!" she hated telling the truth the second the words flew out of her mouth.
Mr. Briggs just gaped at her, to fed up to answer. "Get out of my sight. Now." Then he turned away and went towards the group of people huddling Ryder.

Kacy looked to Edna, who was having a serious conversation with a nurse. Edna? Being serious? What? Edna scurried over and took me by the hand. "Lets go miss."

Oh, what had Kacy done? She felt even more bad every second.
She couldn't help it anymore. She collapsed to the ground, balling her eyes out. "I didn't meant to, Edna! I didn't want to hurt!" she cried. Well, it probably sounded more like screaming. "I'm sorry! I'm so, so, so sorry!" I just want my stupid life become better.

Edna wrapped herself around Kacy, holding her eve so close. Kacy instantly began to feel better. Human contact. She didn't know how much she craved it. To be held tight by another. It felt so nice.

"Lets get your makeup off and then watch a movie, okay?" Kacy was so glad she didn't saying anything about the scratch. No, I know you're sorry, or, it'll all be alright. It made Kacy feel comforted.

"Okay," whispered Kacy, her voice weak from screaming. "Okay."

SORRY ITS SHORT:(
